I love to know all about your pet before I begin.

If you live within an hour or two from me I would love to come and meet your pet and gather some insight into their personality as well as take my own reference photographs.

Once I have gathered the necessary photographs and have an insight into your pet's uniqueness--I will begin with the sketch.

I work on Velour board in soft pastel.  Layer upon layer is added using various types of pastels to achieve the end result which is a soft textured realistic portrait of your beloved animal.
